Fotosub: Denis Palbiani

Denis Palbiani è nato in provincia di Reggio Emilia nel 1965 ed ha iniziato ad immergersi nel 1982. Nel 1993, anno del primo viaggio in un mare tropicale, sentendo subito l’esigenza di documentare ciò che vedeva, ha iniziato a fotografare, con una vecchia Nikonos III con un 35 mm. Il continuo e crescente desiderio di vedere e esplorare nuovi posti, l’ha portato a toccare quasi tutti i luoghi di immersioni più particolari al mondo.

Alcuni anni fa è entrato quasi per caso nel circolo delle competizioni Nazionali in estemporanea, e ha raggiunto prestigiosi livelli. Negli anni 2003-2004 s’è fregiato del titolo di Campione Italiano Individuale di fotografia subacquea, e nel settembre del 2005 ha vinto il Campionato del Mondo Individuale di fotografia subacquea. Ha inoltre ottenuto vari altri risultati in concorsi Nazionali che Internazionali.

Affascinato dagli effetti creati dalla luce attraverso l’acqua, considera il mare un luogo magico e affascinante dove tutti siamo protagonisti nel bene o nel male.
